Vio Mask x Big Bear and Bird: Turning Kids’ Masks into Fashionable Collectibles

The pandemic season was a challenging time for everyone, but I was grateful that even then, I could continue creating and collaborating with brands. One of the most memorable projects was with Vio Mask, who at the time was collaborating with a well-known influencer—who also happened to be a fan of Big Bear and Bird. That’s how this three-way collaboration came to life so naturally.

We designed kids’ masks featuring Ubu Bear, Pip the Bird, and Loella Bunny, packaged as three designs in one set. The masks sold very well and became more than just a health necessity—they turned into a lifestyle collectible. I even kept a few unused ones as a keepsake for my child, to remember how my art found its way into everyday life during such a unique moment in history.
