A Whimsical Portrait of Self-Expression Through Shiseido’s Untamed Beauty Collection

When Shiseido invited me to collaborate on their latest hair color collection, the vision was to create a series that felt both whimsical and abstract—a celebration of individuality through art. Under the theme “Untamed Beauty,” each illustration showcases a unique hairstyle and bold shade, designed to embody the freedom of self-expression.

Some figures are intentionally faceless, allowing anyone to see themselves within the work, while delicate flowers weave through the designs to reflect the personality of each color. Beyond the chart, these illustrations were also brought to life as a calendar, turning the collection into a year-round reminder that beauty is as diverse and expressive as the people who wear it.
