When Mairu, part of Ideal International, invited me to reimagine their enamel cookware, it felt like stepping into a dream—transforming something once seen as “old-fashioned” into pieces that are modern, cute, and elegant. Many even mistook the collection for toys at first glance, which speaks to the playful charm it carries.

Through the story of “togetherness”—whether it’s cooking with friends or sharing a picnic—Ubu Bear, Pip the Bird, and friends come to life across enamel pots, pans, and kitchenware designed for real everyday use. Compatible with gas, induction, and ovens up to 450°C, the collection combines durability with delight. With two series launched (and a third on the way), this collaboration has quickly become one of the best-selling partnerships, celebrated by both families and cooking influencers alike.
