Fine Counsel x Big Bear and Bird: Unisex Artwear with Hand-Painted Shoes and Premium Embroidered Apparel

Most of Fine Counsel’s customers are male, while my illustrations in Big Bear and Bird are often catered toward female audiences. But that contrast made this collaboration both fun and challenging. We came up with the theme “The Stellar”—and thankfully, it worked beautifully. This marks our 4th collaboration, starting with hand-painted shoes featuring Ubu Bear and Pip the Bird. I designed the composition, placement, and colors, and Fine Counsel brought in professional shoe painters to replicate my artwork directly onto the shoes.

From there, the collaboration expanded into apparel collections—hoodies, sweaters, and tees. To keep the designs unisex, I incorporated bold graphic elements while still letting Ubu and Pip shine. With Fine Counsel’s premium fabrics and meticulous embroidery, each piece became a wearable art form, detailed and striking when worn.
